A. Position Summary:
Sign up new distributors of mutual funds for selling Policies/ keeping track of new segments of growth in the market
Responsible for identifying Top Financial Consultants of competition, Mutual Fund agents and recruitment of them for ULIP Channel.
Have in-depth connectivity and knowledge about the market in which based. Should have good relations with partners to sign up quickly
Create a winning pitch for ULIP products to be sold through mutual fund platform.
Market Intelligence with respect to distribution partners, products, competition so that strategy to acquire potentially large sellers in the market place
To build the AUM of ULIPs in a cost efficient manner
Ensuring compliance to laid down company policies
Follow up with partners and internal stakeholders for quick issuance of policies
All Important parameters like persistency and renewals are adhered as per company policies
B. Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of various kinds of ULIPs, doing risk & performance analysis, understanding operational parameters of ULIPs
Conducting basic fundamental research and Risk Reward ratio of funds before recommending.
Gaining understanding of various sales channels like IFA, Banks, National Distributor etc., enhancing understanding about ULIPs market and regulatory aspects of Insurance Industry
Review & analyse different Financial Market related information, its Pros & Cons towards ULIPs.
Monitoring performances of all channels which including activities from sourcing to servicing
Conducting negotiations with distributors over targets and subsequent business to be derived from them.
Liaising with the respective departments to ensure a smooth functioning of the existing initiatives.
Building a very strong & robust team to penetrate and retain the client base
Getting Reference from existing distributors to increase the client base.
Ensuring all laid down IRDA Guidelines are followed.
C. Job Specification:
Competent professional with proven track record in Sales and can spearhead business from Distributors of Mutual Funds.
Excellent professional track record having exposure towards Retail Sales.
Excellent analytical, negotiation & inter-personal skills with demonstrated communication and relationship management abilities.
Ability to work independently and make decisions within established guidelines.
Should be expert in meeting / exceeding targets relating to revenue growth, profit margin, sales, distributor retention and distributor acquisition
Skilled in enhancing market share of the organization by establishing strategic alliances and tie-ups with channel partners
Should be resourceful and can maintain cordial relationship with distributors, ensuring quality and service norms to achieve customer satisfaction and business retention
Should be good at analytical & interpersonal skills which demonstrates self-motivation, creativity & initiative to achieve personal & corporate goals.
D. Key Requirements:
Qualification and Experience:
Education qualification Post Graduation / MBA
10-15 years of experience in similar roles
Proficient in making presentation and writing business documents; Working knowledge of Excel
